If you play an instrument, write “SFS jam session” on your calendar for the second Sunday of each month! The jams include a potluck dinner and are open to any interested
musician. We plan to continue offering the monthly jam sessions as long as people are attending them and we can find persons willing to host them. For more information, contact Margie at copelandheller@netzero.com

Mini-Workshop & Jam Schedule 2007
sponsor = Washington State Ol Tyme Fiddlers District 2
Jam & Mini-Workshop at The Friends Church W. 1612 Dalke,
(between Ash & Maple, 1 blk S. of Francis)
2nd Sundays, starting January 14th,  from 2 - 5 o'clock.
Workshop 1st hour, Instructors and materials will vary monthly.
Jam downstairs during & after the workshop. All Musicians welcome.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost: a $5.00 fee is charged, to District members, $12.00 to non members.
Jam FREE, bring treats and friends to share.

  • Jam in Moscow (first and third Saturdays)

  • There will be jam sessions at Thorn creek Grille and Gifts (520 S. Main, Moscow, ID) from noon to 2:00 p.m., and at Bookpeople from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.  Bluegrass, oldtime, Irish, Klezmer and other types of folk music are encouraged.
    Bluegrass  Jam Sunday Afternoon from 2pm to 5pm. Auntie's Book store. Downtown Spokane.


    Weekly  bluegrass jam/open mic at 7pm at the Savageland Pizza, 8th & Dishman Road. Free concerts at Aunties 402 W. Main
    Spokane.

    The Toasted Toads host an open jam - and we mean open, everyone gets to perform - every Sunday afternoon starting at 4:00 pm at the Linger Longer Lounge, Maine Street, Spirit Lake Idaho.     As a rule, Contra dances are held at the Women's Club on Wednesdays and 2nd Saturdays at the East Spokane Grange, during non summer months. Check the Calendar page for changes.

    Palouse Folklore Society Contra Dances:  monthly, 3rd Saturday, 1912 Building in Moscow, 7:30 pm.
